I'm so excited and want to share it with you!

Gildardo García lives on in our memory. And we hope he lives on in the memory of many of you as well. Finally, this journalistic chronicle, co-directed by Amado Hernández and I—with the technical support of Torneos—will be on a television channel. It will be on Telemedellín, this holiday Monday, November 4th, at 1:00 p.m.: Gildardo García, A Warrior Without Memory.

We have already had two public presentations, at the Parque del Ajedrez, headquarters of the Antioquia Chess League, within the context of the Continental Championship, and at the Antioquia Academy of History. This will be the debut of this product on public television.

We wanted to pay tribute to the second Colombian grandmaster (the first from Antioquia) of all time, an effort by earthly gods to keep his legacy alive. Through his actions, many of which are tinged with feats of achievement, we seek to inspire not only new generations of chess players: the GM's story is a metaphor that can be used to represent the feats many of us accomplish in the ebb and flow of our lives, the triumphs and defeats, the ups and downs that we endure. There are points of identification, in this timeline, with our own stories, regardless of our trade, job, vocation, or profession.

We hope you enjoy this work. See you!
